lezantaAlong the main pathway of Acrocorinth, heading towards Mosque A (Ahmed Paşa mosque), at the left side of the cobblestone passage, stands a small bath.
The building presents a square shaped ground floor plan measuring 2,81×2,55m, (probably a private house hamam), while the vertical recesses in the masonry indicate the place of the ceramic tubes through which hot air and smoke circulated from the hypocaust through the walls heating the building. The room is accompanied by a small adjoining space, most probably used for the bath’s water reservoir.
The roofs have collapsed and only a few indications may imply their initial coverage by a dome.
